Our proposal for "Creating serial material unicorns based on flux-grown crystals" was adopted by the Strategic Innovation Promotion Program on August 28, 2023.
This proposal is led by Katsuya Teshima (our CTO) and Professor and Director of the Institute for Materials Science, Shinshu University, and our company has been selected as a joint research and development institution.

On March 16, 2023, we established two subsidiaries, Vernu Aqua Co., Ltd. and Vernu Energy Co., Ltd. Vernu Aqua's core business is in the water treatment field, while Vernu Energy's core business is in the energy field, including lithium-ion batteries.
By specializing in their respective growth-prone fields, we will further accelerate technological development related to product and material manufacturing.

On March 2, 2023, we held a results report session for the Shinshu Acceleration Program. The Shinshu Acceleration Program is a short-term, intensive accompaniment support program organized by Nagano Prefecture. Our company was selected as a support recipient for this program and received support for approximately three months. Our company won the Grand Prix in the Entrepreneurship category at the public judging of the Shinshu Venture Contest 2022 held on December 10, 2022!
The Shinshu Venture Contest 2022 is held every year with the slogan "You create the future of Shinshu!" to provide a venue for individuals and companies with new business plans and business ideas that "invigorate Shinshu" to present their ideas and promote the realization of these plans and ideas. There are three categories: Entrepreneurship, Ideas, and High School Students, and this year there were 53 applications.

We have been working together with Shinshu University, Yo-Ho Brewing, and our company on an initiative to "make craft beer by utilizing the unique characteristics of the local water," and we have been preparing for this. As of today, we have brewed the beer. The brewed beer will undergo fermentation and aging for just under a month before it is ready to be sold.
